Congratulations to SLHS undergraduate Giau Noc Le, a 2012 recipient of  a Western Alliance to Expand Student Opportunities Student Stipend Award, which is supported in part by cooperative agreements with the National Science Foundation. Her undergraduate research proposal entitled,”Development of Velopharyngeal Closure in Young Children” was awarded a $2,500 student stipend. Giau’s mentor is Dr. Kate Bunton.
