Congratulations to SLHS undergraduate Ashley Chavez, a 2012 recipient of  a Western Alliance to Expand Student Opportunities Student Stipend Award, which is supported in part by cooperative agreements with the National Science Foundation. Her undergraduate research proposal entitled “Language Deficits after Neurosurgery” was awarded a $2,500 student stipend. Ashley’s mentor is Dr. Stephen Wilson.
