2009 Galileo Circle Scholars

Three SLHS students were chosen as some of the finest College of Science graduate students, representing the tremendous breadth of research in the college.  Rindy Ito’s patron is Cecile Moore, Brian Monson’s patron is Mary Goodman and Davi Vitela’s patrons are David and Mary Peachin.

2009 Acoustical Society travel grants awarded

Sue LeGendre and Davi Vitela received travel grants to present their posters at the 2009 Acoustical Society of America Conference in Portland, OR.

2009 SLHS Graduation

The SLHS Department’s graduation ceremony will take place May 14 from 5:30 to 7pm in the Student Union South Ballroom.

Graduation Breakfast at Z Mansion

Please join the graduates on May 14 at Z Mansion. Breakfast is from 9:30 to 11:30 am.

NSSLHA raises needed funds

The UA chapter of NSSLHA raised $800 with their spring Silent Auction. Items were donated by a variety of local individuals and businesses. Proceeds benefit the Thomas J. Hixon Student Scholarship Fund Endowment and the Starkey Hearing Foundation. NSSLHA extends a thank you to all who participated.
