Financial Assistance
Graduate Traineeships, Assistantships, Fellowships, Scholarships and Awards
If you wish to be considered for financial aid, please indicate your wish on the Department application form. Traineeships, assistantships, and fellowships, when available, currently provide a stipend of approximately $7,000 per year for M.S. and Au.D. level students. Some traineeships, assistantships, and fellowships also include remission of tuition and fees; others do not. If you receive an assistantship, you will be assigned duties for approximately ten hours per week.
Students may also be awarded Graduate Tuition Scholarships, which waive out-of-state tuition, as well as Graduate Academic Scholarships, which waive registration fees.

The American Speech Language Hearing Foundation provides support for students at the graduate level. You can find out more at the ASHFoundation website.
There are several outside agencies that provide financial support to undergraduate and graduate students studying audiology or speech-language pathology. Currently, Sertoma and VOCES Bilingual Speech Pathology provide such scholarships.
