In addition, students are also required to take one course in statistics and one course from the
following listed courses: PSIO 201, 202, or SPH 263, 282.
The ability to write well is an integral skill in this department. Please utilize the Writing Skills Improvement Program, a free service for all UA students, if you are having any difficulty in this area.

A wide variety of minors are appropriate for an undergraduate major in Speech, Language and Hearing sciences. Examples of possible minors include special education and rehabilitation, psychology, and biology.
