Saturday, November 11, 2017 - 10:00am to 12:00pm

The Student Academy of Audiology will be joining members of Adult Loss of Hearing Association (ALOHA) for the annual Walk4Hearing event on November 11, 2017.

The Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) Walk4Hearing increases awareness about hearing loss, helps to eradicate the stigma associated with it and raises funds to provide information and support for people with hearing loss. Since 2006, the Walk4Hearing has raised more than $10 million and has become the largest walk for hearing taking place in cities across the United States.

ALOHA is a GREAT resource. Their mission is to help provide peer support, advocacy, information, and training to individuals with hearing loss, enabling them to improve their quality of life. So, if you'd like to help support a good cause, the link is below!

If you are also interested in joining the walk, you can sign up and be part of the ALOHA team! However, it’s not a requirement to join or fundraise.

The walk will be held at the Riverview Park in Mesa, AZ. It’s a 5k (~3 miles) walk and everyone is welcome to participate! Please feel free to contact Athena Luong if you have any questions.
