Susan and Thomas Cordell have a desire to support the education of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences graduate students who are interested in providing counseling and (re)habilitative services to individuals with hearing loss. Through these scholarships for Audiology graduate students, the Cordells hope to help the university be at the forefront of training future audiologists.
The Cordells have a passion for education and a willingness to give back. Susan believes, “If everyone were to do a little it would make a huge impact.” The scholarships are available to graduate (including doctoral) students who have completed at least one semester of graduate training at the University and will be taking classes at the University of Arizona in the upcoming year. Candidates must hold a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better, demonstrate scholastic excellence, and have a desire to counsel and care for individuals with hearing loss.
