Dr. Amy LaCross' primary specializations are phonetics and phonology. Due to her interests in the neural control of speech and the influences of L1 phonology on speech perception in both normal and disordered populations, she is currently working with Professor Julie Liss in the Motor Speech Disorders Lab as a research assistant professor at Arizona State University. Additionally, she is also working as an adjunct lecturer in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Arizona. She completed her doctorate in linguistics at the University of Arizona in 2011.
