Overview

Kindle Rising is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist who has been engaged in clinical research for over ten years. She oversees assessment and treatment of individuals with aphasia in the Aphasia Research Project and coordinates behavioral data collection from patients and healthy control subjects.  She is actively involved with student research training, co-teaches the Adult Language Disorders 1 course with Dr. Pelagie Beeson, and regularly contributes to laboratory talks and publications.  Kindle received her MS from SLHS and worked in private practice, school, and hospital settings prior to returning to the department as a research speech-language pathologist.
