Concerns or Complaints

The faculty and staff of the Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences are committed to supporting the education, safety, and welfare of our students, clients, and individuals who participate in our research. If there are ever any issues of concern regarding any aspect of the program, we encourage communication with any of our faculty or staff. Do not hesitate to contact the Department Head directly or through our central office at (520) 621-1644 or email. If anonymous communication is desired, the following feedback form is available for students and others.

For complaints regarding our graduate program compliance with standards and regulations, individuals may contact the Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA). The Complaint Procedure against Graduate Education Programs is located at https://caa.asha.org/programs/complaints/ . Complaints against a program must be filed in writing using the CAA’s official form on this page. The form must be signed and submitted with any relevant appendices via U.S. mail, overnight courier, or hand delivery (not via e-mail or as a facsimile) to: Chair, Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology, American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, 2200 Research Boulevard, #310, Rockville, MD 20850.
