Bill Bernett Memorial Fund for Aphasia Research

To honor their good friend, Bill Bernett, Dave and Sue Milligan started an endowment in Bill's name to raise funds to support aphasia research. Beginning in 2011, Bill started to slowly lose his language skills as he suffered with Primary Progressive Aphasia (PPA). He benefited from the research and clinical services at The University of Arizona, and Dave and Sue Milligan, along with Bill's wife, Jill Bernett, generously chose our department as the recipients of the much needed funds to support aphasia research.
