Professor Honored with 2023 Distinguished Faculty Award

SLHS Professor Jeannette Hoit was honored with the 2023 Faculty Peer Mentor Award, one of the Distinguished Faculty Awards given by the University. As written in the award letter, Dr. Hoit "demonstrated pride and passion for mentoring others to reach their full academic and professional potential….and the committee was especially impressed by the amazing compilation of support from your department faculty." As department members can attest, Dr. Hoit has gone above and beyond to ensure the success of many here, and it was with great pride that she was nominated for this award.
