SLHS is proud to collaborate with the State of Arizona Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in partnership with ASU and NAU. The Hearing Healthcare Assistance Program provides low-income adults age 21+ who do not have resources for hearing aids and hearing healthcare access to hearing tests, hearing aids, and aural rehabilitation at no cost to the client. AuD graduate students participate in the assessment and management.

UA News interviewed clinical faculty member Amy Wheeler on the program. You can read more about it here: New project helps UArizona boost access to hearing health care | University of Arizona News
