Magdalena Escobedo, M.A., CCC-SLP joined the faculty of the Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences Department in July 2023. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Arizona in 2008 with minors in Spanish and Japanese. She received her Master of Arts in Communication Disorders from New Mexico State University in 2013. A fluent speaker of Spanish, she specializes in the evaluation and treatment of bilingual and Spanish-speaking children. Prior to joining the SLHS Department, she worked as a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist for Sunnyside Unified School District from 2013 to 2023.
