Holly Cardinal, MS, CCC-SLP

Assistant Clinical Professor

Holly Cardinal received her Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Northern Arizona University. She began her career at the Arizona State School for the Deaf and Blind working primarily with students with visual impairments and multiple disabilities. Over her 20+ year career, Holly has worked with children and adolescents through the Division of Developmental Disabilities, the Arizona Early Intervention Program, as well as charter and public schools. Holly was part of a multidisciplinary evaluation team for Tucson Unified School Districts Child Find program. She also worked as a research speech and language pathologist at the University of Arizona. In that position, she trained and supervised undergraduate and graduate research assistants for a study that included preschool-age children with and without developmental language disorders. 

Holly is committed to working with individuals who stutter and providing child- and family-centered support to children with developmental disabilities. She supports Neurodiversity Affirming Practices and is dedicated to delivering speech-language services that promote authentic connections and mutual respect. Holly is excited to share her experiences with our graduate clinicians in the SLHS Clinic and at off-campus sites.
