Overview
Alyssa Sachs, PhD, CCC-SLP, completed her PhD in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences in Spring 2023. She also completed her Bachelor’s and Master of Science degrees at the University of Arizona. Her dissertation examined the relation between phonological ability and grammatical construction in sentence-level reading and writing. She also contributes to research projects in the Aphasia Research Project lab, under the supervision of her primary mentor, Dr. Pélagie Beeson. Alyssa’s general research interests include investigating the nature and treatment of acquired language disorders in adults.
