Austin Randall earned his BA in Psychology and BSE in Rehabilitation Studies and Services from the University of Arizona and completed his Certificate in Developmental Disabilities through the Sonoran UCEDD Program. The undergraduate certificate in developmental disabilities provided him with a foundation in disability-related research, policy, and practices. He is currently in a MA Counseling (CMHC) program through Antioch University, aiming for full LPC licensure to service underrepresented populations with trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming practice.

Austin is currently working with Mary Alt, PhD; Elena Plante, PhD; and Kim Sasser in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences (SLHS) on the FUERZA program. FUERZA is an innovative program centered around recruiting, retaining, and supporting outstanding junior- and mid-career faculty members from historically-excluded backgrounds.
