Melanie Moore, Au.D., CCC-A, is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences.  She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences and Master of Science in Audiology from the University of Arizona.  Her Transitional Doctor of Audiology degree was earned through A.T. Still University – Arizona School of Health Sciences. 

Dr. Moore joined UA following 10 years as an audiologist in an ENT setting, nine years in a small private practice setting, and an overlapping four years as the Audiology Consultant for the Newborn Hearing Screening Program for the State of Arizona.  In addition, she taught an undergraduate online hearing science course for Northern Arizona University.  Dr. Moore is a past president and past Audiology Representative of the Arizona Speech-Language-Hearing Association and continues to be active on various ArSHA committees. 

Dr. Moore provides instruction and mentoring to first- and second-year graduate students, and undergraduate CAP students in our on-campus clinic as well teaching SLHS 511, the Introduction to Clinical Practice course, for first-year AuD students.  In addition, she currently serves as the Clinic Manager and is the U of A Student Academy of Audiology Faculty Advisor.
