Melanie Randall, MS, CCC-SLP

PhD Student
Melanie has worked continuously as an SLP in Tucson since earning her BS and MS here at the University of Arizona in 2004 & 2006. Beginning in the medical settings, she has experience in outpatient pediatrics, adult acute care, adult neuro rehabilitation, adult outpatient and skilled nursing environments. She found her passion in the field upon moving to education, serving as a high school SLP for 8 years prior to transitioning to the elementary and preschool populations. Since 2010, Melanie has served as an off-campus clinical instructor for students in the MS-SLP program here at the University of Arizona. Currently, she serves as a Spanish-bilingual evaluator for Child Find in a local public school district while pursuing her PhD in Speech-Language and Hearing sciences, where she hopes to leave a lasting contribution to the field of bilingual assessment.

Melanie married her high school sweetheart, Ben Randall. They have two children, Lucas and Savanna, 3 dogs, and 9 chickens. Melanie enjoys competing in triathlons & duathlons, coaching youth sports, and running with her dog, Katy. She is an avid club volleyball mom and a huge fan of local high school football announcer, Lucas Randall.
