Faculty Director: Bryan M. Wong, AuD, PhD, CCC-A

Key Personnel: Matthew Briggs, MFA

Location: SLHS 403

Research Focus: The AID Lab (Audiology Innovation and Design) focuses on advancing hearing healthcare and education through emerging technologies, human-centered design, and innovative clinical solutions. The lab explores new approaches to accessibility, clinical simulation, digital workflows, and hearing technology to improve the delivery, understanding, and future of audiologic care. Current areas of research include:

  • 3D digital workflows for hearing healthcare accessibility
  • Emerging hearing technology evaluation (OTC devices)
  • Clinical audiology simulation and technology design

Our lab members may also be involved in the Digital Audiology vertically integrated project  https://uavip.arizona.edu/digital-audiology
