Nicole Marrone named ASHA Fellow

We congratulate Nicole L. Marrone, Ph.D., CCC-A, Associate Professor, for being named Fellow of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). This honor is one of the highest accolades of the association and acknowledges the significant contribution of the awardee to the discipline of communication sciences and disorders. 

Dr. Marrone has distinguished herself as a clinician-scholar addressing adaptive challenges related to maximizing communication and quality of life for individuals and families living with hearing loss. Her efforts related to teaching, research, community engagement, and clinical practice embody ASHA's Vision statement of "Making effective communication, a human right, accessible and achievable for all."

Dr. Marrone joins a host of other UArizona faculty members who are ASHA Fellows.
