Lian Arzbecker, PhD

Lian is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Arizona studying how speech is produced and perceived. Her work combines acoustics, sociolinguistics, and quantitative methods, with a particular focus on indexical perception and the lack of invariance problem. She is especially interested in developing reliable quantitative approaches to measuring speech.
