Dr. Jessica Brown Joins SLHS Faculty

Jessica Brown, Ph.D., CCC-SLP brings expertise in traumatic brain injury and AAC (Augmentative/Alternative Communication) when she joins our tenure-track faculty in August 2017. Dr. Brown received her M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska. Her research is focused on the development and validation of assessment and treatment protocols for individuals who have experienced traumatic brain injury. She also investigates augmentative and alternative communication strategies for individuals with significant communication impairments. As Assistant Professor, Dr. Brown will teach in her specialty areas of traumatic brain injury and augmentative and alternative communication.
